ABOUT THE PROJECT

This master bedroom in Brooklyn was transformed into a refined, contemporary retreat. The ceiling structure was reconfigured to improve proportions and integrate a new lighting system. Existing ceiling and wall elements were partially demolished, with selective drywall (sheetrock) replacement and full surface preparation for final finishes.

The original flooring was removed and replaced with new wood flooring, creating a cohesive and timeless look. Walls were finished in soft, neutral tones to enhance natural light and architectural balance. Custom decorative paneling behind the headboard adds depth and a subtle architectural accent.

Electrical layouts were updated with new outlets and switches positioned to suit the revised layout. A minor layout adjustment allowed for the addition of a functional walk-in wardrobe with thoughtfully designed storage. The result is a bright, harmonious space that feels intentional, comfortable, and quietly luxurious.
