The apartment benefits from abundant natural light and strong architectural structure, with classic proportions that serve as an ideal foundation for a timeless interior.

CUSTOMER REQUEST

The client requested a traditional American interior in a Shaker style, interpreted in a refined and contemporary way. The goal was to create a light, elegant home with a calm atmosphere, while introducing subtle color accents to add warmth and character.

Aesthetic:

A bright, neutral palette layered with soft, carefully selected color accents. The interior needed to feel timeless, balanced, and welcoming, without visual overload.

Style:

Classic American / Shaker style — clean lines, paneled walls, symmetrical compositions, and an emphasis on craftsmanship, proportions, and architectural detailing.

Functionality:

The existing layout was preserved. No structural changes were made. The focus was on enhancing functionality through thoughtful zoning, custom cabinetry, lighting design, and furniture placement.

Condition:

The apartment did not require redevelopment. The project centered on elevating the interior through finishes, millwork, color strategy, and cohesive stylistic direction.

Spatial Strategy:

The original plan was carefully respected. Architectural elements such as wall paneling, ceiling detailing, and door portals reinforce a sense of order and continuity throughout the apartment.

Interior Atmosphere:

The space feels light, cohesive, and refined. Neutral tones create a calm base, while muted blues, greens, and warm accents introduce depth and individuality. The kitchen features classic Shaker cabinetry in soft gray tones, paired with stone surfaces and understated brass details.

Bedrooms were designed as quiet, elegant retreats, while the children’s room balances softness, functionality, and playful color accents within the same stylistic framework.
